50 x 70 cm - Stylo bille sur papier 160g - 10 Exemplaires - Paris 2016
-

50 x 70 cm - Ballpoint on 160g paper - 10 copies - Paris 2016

Bitmap Palace is a serie of 5 ballpoint drawing crafted using “Autograph”, a printing process that hacks a cutting plotter. It allows to use a machine to draw a vector design on paper, using a pen or a pencil.
The vector design programs are usually used by graphic designers to make logos or illustrations intended to be widely broadcast through screens and prints.
The idea is to bring back a “unique” feeling and a concrete materiality to images created with these vector aesthetics.
As with engraving, the prints feature small irregularities, and
after a certain number of prints, the file is destroyed : the only thing left is the aftermath of the pen lead scrubbing the paper.
