Vidéo générative sur écran de leds - Paris 2019

CENOTAPHE est un archipel de 12 pièces vidéo développée en collaboration avec Ivan Murit.
Invités par le collectif Iilim à travailler autour de la question de l'archive dans la création numérique, leur proposition prend la forme d'un générateur de mémorial.
Après une études des styles que prennent ces constructions à travers les siècles et les continents, ils créent un vocabulaire de formes et de textures qui sont ensuite modifiées et assemblées aléatoirement par un algorithme.
Les écrans affichent inlassablement les nouveaux monuments, confrontant l'idée de la mémoire et de recueillement à celle du flux et d'hyper stimulation (économie de l'attention).
Cette pièce à été diffusé à l'Ep7 en février 2019 à Paris.

CENOTAPHE is an archipel of 12 generative video piece developped in collaboration with Ivan Murit.
Invited by curator collective iilim to work around the question of archive in the digital era, their answer take the form of a memorial generator.
After a study of the different shapes these constructions take trought the centuries and the continents, they created a corpus of architectural forms and digital textures that are then altered and combined by an algorythm.
The screens display untiringly the new monuments generated confronting the ideas of memory and contemplation with the concept of stream and hyper stimulation (economy of attention).
The piece has been displayed at Ep7 during febuary 2019 in Paris.
